How to Animate a Bouncing Ball – It’s surprising to me how hard it is to find a decent bouncing ball tutorial on YouTube. There are just so many bad videos and if you’re just starting out, how can you tell which videos are good? Well this one’s pretty good.

Animation For Beginners – 7 Tips to learn fast and start right – Good advice! Rusty is great and his approach to teaching beginners seems really good. Check out the Animation Courses at RustyAnimator.com

AnimState Discord – Full of very senior animation folks from around the game industry and up-and-comers alike. Started by the same people responsible for GDC’s Animation Bootcamp and The Anim Exchange on Twitch.

SirWade Animation Discord – Run by Sir Wade (that’s his first name, not Sir) a former Maya instructor at Dreamworks covering all sorts of great tips for learning animators.

SyncSketch.com – The best way to show your animation for feedback. Share a link in the feedback channels of the above Discords or send to anyone else you want input from. They can frame through it, write notes, draw sketches etc. Note: If you’re sharing the link make sure it’s not set to private. Also, use the little chain link icon near the top right to UN-synchronize the “meeting” so more than one person can view and comment on it at the same time without stealing control from each other.

Animator’s Resource Kit – Another collection of great resources curated by Adam Turnbull including links to rigs, books, online courses, etc.
